EFL: New England
April 30 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
The Energy for Life Walkathon: New England Committee is excited and energized to be able to reach out to the community to raise funds and awareness for those who are fighting mitochondrial disease in our area. Whether you, someone you love, or someone you know is fighting this disease, we can all come together to spread the word and raise money for research toward a cure.
Registration will be set up at Shelter #1 starting at 9:00 am. The 1 mile and 5K walk routes will loop around the beautiful Colt State Park with scenic views of Narragansett Bay. Meet us back at the registration area for fun and fellowship after the walk!
Parking is available within Colt State Park, with two lots on either side of Shelter #1.
1 Mile Course Description & Map:
A simple and flat out and back 1m route along the beautiful waterfront beginning and ending on the paved path in front of registration at Shelter #1.
5k Route Description & Map:
A scenic, winding loop on paved paths leading walkers along the waterfront, over a pedestrian bridge to a turn around point, at which participants will loop back towards the start/finish at Shelter #1 via the serene and bucolic Coggeshall Farm.
