Please join the Delaware Valley Chapter of the UMDF along with hundreds of runners and walkers as we unite in support of those individuals and families affected by mitochondrial disease.
The 10th Annual Go! for Mito offers all participants a fun-filled experience with entertainment, refreshments, mitochondrial disease resources, and much, much more! Start a corporate, school or family team today!
Choose to participate in the 5K Run or the One-Mile Walk. Your involvement could make the difference in funding for life-saving research!
Prizes will be awarded to the Top Three Individual Fundraisers
These prizes will include a 42” Plasma TV, an iPod Touch and a Wii Game System. The Top Three Teams with the Most Members will also receive a prize. The captain of the top three teams with the most members will get their choice of a Play station 3, an Apple Ipod Touch or Blue Ray DVD/VCR combo.
New this year, we have a prize for team with the most creative hats. The hats should include your team name and be creative!.
We will be having entertainment to keep the kiddies busy, including, Worrell Entertainment with their moon bounces, Birthday Buddies, with the character and face painting, and a magician. KYW will be our partner in advertising and spreading the word about this day and spreading awareness for this awesome cause.
Shuttle buses will be available from 3 of the parking sites to transport participants to the site of the walk. There will be parking attendants with signs to direct participants. Another shuttle bus will be picking participants up from Eakins Oval, one from Pennsylvania Avenue street parking area, and one from the Joan of Arc statue.
