Welcome to the Go for Mito 5K Run/WalkThe Annual Go For Mito! run/walk was held on Saturday, September 13th at the Philadelphia Art Museum. Online donations are still being accepted. Thank you for your participation, we hope to see you again next year!

Whether you decide to participate for yourself, a loved one or a stranger, your participation in the Go! For Mito 5K Run/1 Mile Walk supports the work of the United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation.
Start building your teams now by registering online and recruting new team members with our web-based fundraising tools. Then, join us on Saturday, September 13th for a morning of fun filled activities!
Make shirts, hats and pins to show support for your team. Enjoy our inflatable moonbounce with slide and marvel at The Amazing Larry Vee. The Birthday Buddies will also be on hand with clowns, face painters and surprise characters.
Further, we ask that you make a basket in honor of your team or family member and donate it to our basket table. Team Captains can contact Sue Cogswell at 731-390-1649 to arrange a donation.
Also at this year's race will be a Mito Sharing Table. Do you have anything you can no longer use? Bring items to the walk and exchange them for others you might need. If you do not have the anything to bring, please feel free to find something you might need anyway. Bring items such as Mickey buttons, extensions, syringes, formula bags, suction catheters, nasal cannulas, pulse ox probes, depends, diapers, sugar test strips, Ph tape, O2 tubing, unused cases of formula (all of the above must be unused) and feeding pumps.
The Sharing Table is not prepared to take on wheelchairs, bath chairs or big Medical Durable equipment at this time. For questions email Millie Rodriquez at nena1294@aol.com.
The prizes awarded to the Top 3 Individual Fundraisers are:
- Wii Game System w/ Rock Band Bundle
- iPod Touch
- 50" Plasma Television
The top fundraiser gets first pick after all donations have been calculated.
The prizes awarded to the captains of the Top 3 Largest Teams are:
- Wii Game System
- iPod Nano
- Member's Mark 48" Gas Grill w/ Oven
The largest team gets the first pick after all participants have been registered and counted. Team Captains must be present to win.
