Mitoconnect is a networking service provided to UMDF members. Connect with others experiencing similar challenges based on age, diagnosis, location or symptoms. If you are interested in making a mitoconnection, please email info@umdf.org.

Ways that we can help:

  • Send a free packet of information on mitochondrial disease to your healthcare professional.
  • Help arrange an educational Grand Rounds presentation to held in your area.
  • Help you start a UMDF Chapter or Mito GroupSM in your area.
  • Provide you with up-to-date information through our quarterly newsletter “Mitochondrial News”.
  • Provide you with names of physicians familiar with mitochondrial disease.
  • Offer a friendly voice to answer your question or refer you to someone who can.
  • Provide an opportunity to hear state-of-the-art information on mitochondrial disease and network with others affected by mitochondrial disease at The United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation annual symposium.
