Protection and Advocacy Agencies (P&A's)
The State Protection and Advocacy Agencies act as a technical assistance center providing services to the disabled. If you are currently employed and have a disability, the agencies provide services to people who may be struggling with employer related issues.

  • State Employment Specialists in Vocational Education - The goal of State Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) agencies is to assist individuals with disabilities to become employed. To that end, VR agencies (with the support of their federal partners) stand ready to provide employers with qualified job candidates with disabilities to meet the workforce needs of American business.
  • DBTAC National Network of ADA Centers - The Disability and Business Technical Assistance Center (DBTAC) is a national network of 10 regional centers that provide the most complete and experienced services for up-to-date information, referrals, resources and training on the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) to businesses, employers, government entities and individuals with disabilities.

  • One Stop Career Center- Financial assistance for persons with disabilities preparing for entry or re-entry into the workforce may be available through your local One Stop Career Center or your local state vocational rehabilitation agency.
