Amy Goldstein, M.D.

Dr.  Goldstein is a pediatric neurologist at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.   Her specialty is pediatrics with a sub specialty in neurology.   Dr. Goldstein sees mitochondrial disease patients at a newly formed clinic in Pittsburgh, PA.   Dr. Goldstein serves on the Board of Trustees of the UMDF.  Dr. Goldstein is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and conducted her residency programs at Mercy Hospital and Children’s Hospital, both located in Pittsburgh, PA.  Dr. Goldstein loves meeting and talking to those touched by mitochondrial diseases.

Among the topics to be discussed by Dr. Goldstein:
- the role of mitochondrial function and dysfunction in health and disease.
- basics of therapy for mitochondrial disorders.
