Family Meeting Welcome Message
On behalf of the United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation (UMDF), Mitochondrial Medicine Society, Mitochondria Research Society, Mitochondrial Physiology Society and The Cleveland Clinic, I would like to invite you to attend Mitochondrial Medicine 2010, UMDF’s twelth annual international symposium dedicated to mitochondrial medicine, to be held June 18-19, 2010, at the Marriott Camelback Inn & Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona, USA.
The 2010 meeting format will be similar to last year’s format, which gives attendees two seminar choices for many time slots, allowing them to tailor the meeting to their specific needs or interests. Back by popular demand -- Teen Sessions!
During the conference, you will meet dozens of people who, like you, are seeking knowledge. They may be parents or an individual with similar experiences or someone that lives close to you. You may meet several of the top mitochondrial specialists in the world and many of you will stop to talk to some of our exhibitors. The sessions will be packed full of great information and the faculty will try to leave time at the end for questions.
Whether it is something you learn during a session or a new supplement suggested by an exhibitor, we ask that you always discuss any diagnoses, treatments, therapies or medications with your personal physician. The UMDF cannot and does not assume any responsibility for the use, misuse or misapplication of any information provided throughout this conference.
Join us in Scottsdale, AZ, as we continue to set the pace in mitochondrial medicine, encouraging the exchange of information and cultivating networks among physicians, researchers, patients and families!
Respectfully,
Charles A. Mohan Jr.
CEO/Executive Director
