Oral and Poster Presentations
Please Submit your Abstracts by March 31, 2010


Guidelines for Abstracts

    1. The abstract submission deadline is March 31, 2010.
    2. All submissions must be sent electronically through the on line form.

    3. Body of Abstract should fall between 300-400 words. Please use the following format in the preparation of your abstract document prior to attaching it through the online submission form (use Arial font, 11 point):

    4. The author who submitted the abstract online should receive an immediate notification of a successful submission. In the event that you do not receive a notification, please email abstracts@umdf.org.

Presentation of Abstracts

    All submissions will be peer-reviewed by the Abstract Review Committee. The committee will review submissions and decide the form of presentation (oral vs. poster) – the program has 26 time slots for oral presentations. All other accepted abstracts will be presented as posters. All presenters will be notified by April 16, 2010.  Oral presentations will be limited to 10 minutes, with 5 minutes for questions and answers. 

    All accepted abstracts will be presented in the course syllabus book that will be distributed to conference attendees and will be printed post conference in an issue of the journal Mitochondrion.

Poster Guidelines

    Poster dimensions should fall between 3 to 3.5 feet high by 3.5 to 4 feet wide. Poster set-up typically begins Tuesday evening and final tear-down is Saturday by noon.
