The Energy for Life Walkathon: Pittsburgh Committee is excited and energized to be able to reach out to the community to raise funds and awareness for those who are fighting mitochondrial disease in our area. Whether you, someone you love, or someone you know is fighting this disease, we can all come together to spread the word and raise money for research toward a cure.
Registration will be set up at the WWII Memorial on the North Shore Riverfront Park’s Great Lawn at 9:00 am, the 3K walk route will start at 10:00 am and the 1 mile walk route will start at 10:10 am. The route goes down along the Riverfront on the Three Rivers Heritage Trail. Meet us back at the registration area for fun and fellowship after the walk!
