Event Information

Event Info:
The Energy for Life Walkathon: Southwest Florida Committee is excited and energized to be able to reach out to the community to raise funds and awareness for those who are fighting mitochondrial disease in our area. Whether you, someone you love, or someone you know is fighting this disease, we can all come together to spread the word and raise money for research toward a cure.

Registration will be set up at the ‘Registration Shelter’ and the 1 mile & 5K walk routes will loop around Estero Recreation center. Meet us back in front of the bandshell for fun and fellowship after the walk!

Parking is available adjacent to the Estero Recreation Center building.

For more information, please contact our co-chairs, Robyn Shumsky and Janet Congero Anderson at eflswfl@gmail.com and for information on our corporate partnership, please contact Margaret Moore at margaret.moroe@umdf.org or call 412-354-1553.
