UMDF patient families and volunteers inspire us every day. From bake sales to full marathons, they power our support, education and funding for the best research around the globe.

RUN 4 RALEY

Runners have been gathering for 11 years for the Run4Raley twilight run in Philo, IL. The annual event is held in memory of
Raley Kirby, has raised a total of $200,000 over the years.

COINS FOR A CURE

St. Bernadette School in Monroeville, PA, now known as Divine Mercy Academy, has been raising money for the UMDF through our Coins for a Cure Program since 2002. Student have raised over $30,000 in total giving for patient families.

COUSINS FOR A CURE

The Breslow Family and Friends hosted their second Cousins for a Cure event to benefit the Logan Sloane Aronson in honor of Sydney Breslow Family Fund. The bi-annual event raised $196,000.

FACEBOOK FUNDRAISING

Facebook users fundraised more than $166,000 through the platforms fundraising page to celebrate their birthday or ‘just because’.

TOGETHER WITH TRICIA

The Chi Omega chapter at the University of Nebraska Lincoln rallied around their sister Tricia Melland. Along with their annual Cup of Joe with Chi-O fundraisers, they also sold t-shirts in a “Together with Tricia” campaign to raise awareness around campus.

GO PRO FOR MITO

The annual Go Pro for Mito brought together golfers from around Columbus, GA, to raise $72,000!

COOKOUT & CARWASH

The Clifton Family, along with The Sons of Amvets Squadron and the Ladies Auxiliary 88, organized a cookout and carwash to raise funds in honor of Connor Clifton’s 14th birthday!

BAKE SALE

Ms. Dwight’s third grade class at Queen of Angels School in Chicago, IL, held a bake sale in which the proceeds were donated to the UMDF’s CPEO/KSS Project Fund in memory of Kenley Montes.

CHICAGO MARATHON

Team Hope Energy Life for the Bank of America Chicago Marathon raised a whopping $49,000, surpassing all previous fundraising!
