This holiday season, we count on the generosity of corporate partners to make a difference in the lives of those affected by mitochondrial disease. You can become a corporate partner by pledging to donate or raise at least $1,000 in the Give Energy Holiday Campaign. There are several ways in which your business can participate. Aside from making a direct donation, your company can participate in the following ways:
Point of Sale Fundraising – Your company can participate in the Give Energy Holiday Lightbulb for a Cure Campaign by asking your customers to make a donation at point of sale by purchasing a paper holiday lightbulb. The lightbulbs can then be hung in your facility to recognize donors and amount raised toward your commitment.
Round-up Campaign – Encourage your customers to ‘round-up’ their purchase total and donate the difference to the Give Energy Campaign.
Cause Marketing Campaign – Incorporate a Cause Marketing Campaign around a product or service that your company provides. In these promotions, a portion of sales would be donated to UMDF.
Host an Event – Your company can host an event to benefit the UMDF and raise funds toward your commitment. Events are a great way to engage the community in both your company and the Give Energy Campaign. Ideas include a luncheon, grand opening, product release, or traditional fundraising event.
Employee Giving – Encourage your employees to be part of your Give Energy commitment by making a personal donation to the UMDF. Consider making a
‘match’ contribution for every dollar donated by your employees.
