You will discover an entire community of helpful resources and support services during the Symposium’s two-day family program.
“I am still always amazed by the true desire of the clinicians to speak and learn from us. You can tell your individual story. I LOVE connecting with people from the top to the bottom.”

“I enjoyed every aspect of the conference. The free time to interact with other attendees was just as beneficial as the seminars. There was so much to choose from and it was very well organized.”

Programs to Connect Patient and Families

UMDF’s four-day Mitochondrial Medicine 2021 was a successful and unique online experience for patients, their families and the mitochondrial medicine community.

Mitochondrial Medicine 2021 covered thought-provoking discussions surrounding clinical trials, as well as current topics facing our patient community in today’s unprecedented landscape. For three consecutive days, attendees were given the opportunity to ask questions and engage in live conversations through online chat and polling.

From couches all over the world, the mitochondrial community came together to share the latest research, collaborative initiatives and new hope for potential treatments and therapies. Thank you to our generous 2021 sponsors, speakers and participants for creating another virtual event that will go down in the history books.
