The United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation LOVES Volunteers!
In 1996, the United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation (UMDF) began its mission to promote research and education for the diagnosis, treatment and cure of mitochondrial disorders and to provide support to affected individuals and families, with an army of less than 200 volunteers. Today, more than 2,000 volunteers find empowerment in giving their time and talents to help us fund a cure and provide support to the individuals we serve. Volunteers are used in a wide variety of areas from serving national and/or local committees, stuffing envelopes in the national office, assisting at symposium, helping with local fundraisers or acting as a UMDF ambassador.
If you are interested in sharing your time and talents, we will find an opportunity for you! Contact your Regional Coordinator or the national office at 1-888-317-UMDF (8633) for volunteer opportunities or complete the online forms below.
To make a difference today for the patients/families we serve, please complete the following survey and check the areas that interest you most.
Thank you for your willingness to volunteer for the United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation and for taking a few minutes to complete and return this survey to us.
